ML Quest

Your journey stays with you.

ML Quest keeps app progress on your device. This policy also explains what happens when you choose to contact Rout1 for support.

The short version

ML Quest does not require an account. The app has no Rout1 server, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Your quest progress and app settings stay on your iPhone or iPad.

Information stored by the app

ML Quest stores the information needed to continue your journey on your device. This includes progress, completed places, review status, preferences, and reminder settings.

Rout1 does not receive this app information. ML Quest does not sync it between devices.

Optional reminders

If you enable a daily reminder, ML Quest asks iOS for notification permission and schedules the reminder locally. You can turn reminders off inside ML Quest or change notification permission in the iOS Settings app.

Information the app does not collect

  • No account or profile.
  • No location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or health information.
  • No advertising identifiers.
  • No usage analytics or cross-app tracking.
  • No sale of personal information.

Erase your app data

Choose “Erase all quest progress” in ML Quest Settings to restart the journey. That action keeps preferences such as sound and reminders. Delete ML Quest from the device to remove all locally stored app data.

Website and support messages

The ML Quest website is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare can process technical request information, such as an IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.

If you use the existing Rout1 contact form, you choose to provide a name, email address, and message. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the submission for abuse. Resend delivers the message to the Rout1 support mailbox. This contact information is separate from the ML Quest app and is used only to answer or manage your request.

Support message retention and deletion

Rout1 keeps support messages only as long as needed to answer the request and maintain a useful support record, unless a longer period is required by law.

To ask Rout1 to delete a support message, use the ML Quest support page. Include the email address used and the approximate date of the message. Rout1 will delete information it controls unless it must be kept for a legal reason.

Policy changes

If the app’s data practices change, Rout1 will update this page and its effective date before the change applies.
